giffgaff Ad Campaign

This brief comes from D&AD One Show

Giffgaff has tasked us to create an ad campaign that shows that they give back, whether it's to the planet, community, or everyday people. They want the medium to be more than expected and not basic. It must match the message of giving back. 

This campaign addresses that brief and goes further with other collateral and phases.

Phase One:

OOH and Social for Experiential Event

In this phase there is an experiential event that encourages people to come and take a spin class that has stationary bikes hooked up to generators and batteries. This power will be stored then sold back to the grid. We would then donate the power credit to shelters and organizations that could use the help.

App for the event.

This app would let you track how much power you are making, pick the charity or organization you want to support, and let you share your achievements with your friends. The share feature would also be a great tool to get more people to come to the events and generate some power for people in need.

Phase Two:

Traditional Advertising - Recycle

This phase focuses on traditional advertising methods and is all about recycling your phone with giffgaff and getting rewarded for it.
