In the Life of Letters

Using the typeface that I made called Celestial Dystopia, I made a children's book. A place where kids can see what my letters are up to in their daily lives. It’s silly and playful to push a previous design further into new and interesting media.

Celestial Dystopia

Celestial Dystopia is a typeface I made from scratch using the cult favourite show Doctor Who as inspiration. I used Doctor Who because of the variety of story and elements that I could use to influence my typeface. Details are key and it would primarily be a display font. At the moment I a currently working on another project where these letters come to life and we experience what a font does during the day in a children’s book.
